Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Superintendent for Self-Perform Work (SPW) to supervise daily SPW field operations and contribute to achieving project goals. The role involves coordinating SPW crews, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and maintaining accurate project documentation for informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of SPW field engineering or construction management experience, with OSHA 30-hour training and related certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management, engineering or related field is required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in SPW field engineering, construction management or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily SPW site activities and implements quality control measures to ensure compliance with project plans and safety protocols.
• Manages coordination of materials, tools, and equipment for self-perform tasks to maintain uninterrupted workflow.
• Monitors daily logs and progress reports for self-perform work, documenting milestones and issues.
• Communicates updates and field concerns to SPW leadership for timely resolution.
• Participates in safety meetings and site inspections to reinforce accountability and continuous improvement.
• Supports SPW field teams in addressing routine operational issues and escalates complex matters as needed.

Education

Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
