Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Principal Project Engineer to lead project engineering for external and internal aerospace programs. You will develop schedules, budgets, and risk management plans, coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance to keep programs on track.

The successful candidate will have a BS or MS in an engineering field, 8+ years of relevant experience, and strong skills in project management tools (MS Project, Jira), systems engineering, and

• 8+ years of industry experience in a relevant engineering or project role.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Jira for planning and tracking.
• Technical familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
• Understanding of aerospace systems engineering processes and space life cycle.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
