Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex aerospace programs across concept to delivery. You will own performance, cost, schedule, and risk management while coordinating across engineering, fabrication, and procurement teams.

The role demands strategic oversight and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, cross-functional startup-like environment. The successful candidate will have 12+ years in program/subcontract management within aerospace, with strong communication,

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Program Management or Subcontract Management experience.
• BS or MS in engineering from an accredited university.
• Aerospace industry experience as a system or design engineer.
• Familiarity with RF, communication, or satellite systems.
• Experience managing cross functional and decentralized teams.
• CAM, risk management, EVMS, and risk-based assessment experience.
• Experience developing work breakdown structures, integrated master plans, and integrated master schedules.
• Experience managing programs with dynamic and multi-project interdependencies.
• Return-To-Green experience on one or more programs.
• Experience in NRE development programs.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program performance and day-to-day execution across project phases.
• Serve as primary point of contact for program reviews with customers.
• Collaborate with all functional groups to ensure objective-driven delivery.
• Establish baselines, monitor progress, and generate revised estimates.
• Provide data-driven insights to leadership and finance for revenue recognition.
• Contribute to PMO development and mentorship of project engineers.
