Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience, or graduate degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Graduate degree with 2+ years of related experience if applicable.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Experience in aerospace/manufacturing for spaceflight hardware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering for assembly, test, and integration of electromechanical and optomechanical assemblies.
• Create work instructions and manufacturing procedures from technical docs.
• Lead design changes with engineering to address issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and costs.
• Implement root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support capacity planning and risk reduction for future programs.
