Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline with 4+ years of related experience; or advanced degree with at least 2 years.
• Experience with electromechanical and optomechanical assemblies; aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering activities for assembly, test, and integration of electromechanical and optomechanical assemblies.
• Write work instructions and manufacturing procedures; create routers.
• Lead design changes by coordinating with design engineering to address issues.
• Interface with technicians and other operations personnel during hardware integration and test.
• Propose and lead process improvement projects to optimize manufacturing processes.
