Job summary

CesiumAstro, a leader in satellite communication systems, seeks a senior electrical/engineering leader to guide enterprise hardware development and technology roadmaps. You will mentor teams across design, fabrication, and testing, standardize practices, and resolve complex technical challenges with manufacturing partners.

You will drive performance improvements, oversee verification, and advise executives on technical direction while supporting in-orbit customer engagement and post-production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15–19 years of related experience in electrical/electronics/computer engineering.
• Extensive experience defining enterprise level hardware development and fabrication strategies.
• Expert understanding of signal integrity, EMI/EMC, hardware integration, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise engineering strategies, architectures, design methodologies, and roadmaps.
• Lead and mentor development teams in detailed design of systems and subsystems.
• Establish organizational standards for design practices and governance.
• Provide technical leadership across engineering, manufacturing, and QA teams.
• Evaluate performance, simulations, qualification testing, and system interactions.
• Approve design methodologies and verification approaches for major programs.
• Serve as principal advisor on technical decisions to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and efficiency.
• Support post-production/in-orbit customer engagement.
