Job summary

CesiumAstro is hiring a Staff Power Electronics Engineer to lead power electronics hardware for satellites and space systems. You will define architectures, perform trade studies, and drive detailed circuit design from concept through production release.

You will mentor engineers, lead a small team, and contribute to design verification and production support while staying at the forefront of space power innovations.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience designing analog and power electronics.
• Knowledge of power architecture SWAP-C trade studies.

Responsibilities

• Define electrical power system architecture and requirements.
• Design DC-DC converters, motor drives, and power management circuits from concept to release.
• Perform detailed analog and power electronics circuit design.
