Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer to lead design, development, and production of custom space electronics in Gilbert/ Phoenix area. You will coordinate electrical, mechanical, FPGA, and software disciplines to meet tight schedules and budgets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in EE project engineering, strong requirements management, and experience with space-grade electronics. On-site testing and customer liaison are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required; Master preferred.
• 5+ years of experience leading EE PCBA design and/or embedded microprocessor/FPGA/ASIC design.
• Proven project engineering track record coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead responsible engineer and technical point of contact to customers on design, development, and production of custom space electronics.
• Provide effective project leadership to cross-functional teams across development, qualification, and production programs.
• Manage budget, schedule, risk, and technical execution; actively manage scope creep.
