MOOG Space and Defense in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Senior Lead Hardware Engineer to lead a group of engineers in designing, manufacturing, and testing electrical spacecraft hardware.

The role requires hands-on involvement to turn customer requirements into electronics for space environments, with expertise in digital, analog, and FPGA design; a BS in EE and at least 7 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of electrical hardware design or systems engineering.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge in digital, analog and FPGA design.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of engineers to design, manufacture, and test electrical spacecraft hardware.
• Provide hands-on involvement to turn customer requirements into electronics for space environments.
• Direct innovative space-bound designs for rovers, space station, crewed spacecraft, and satellites in various orbits.
