Maggiano's, Inc. is seeking a Sous Chef in Indianapolis to lead the kitchen team with passion and culinary excellence. You will mentor cooks, ensure every dish meets our standards, and collaborate with the Executive Chef to elevate Italian-American cuisine and hospitality.

This role focuses on developing talent, maintaining quality, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a high-volume, family-style setting.

Formación

• 2+ years of management experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Strong command of Italian-American cuisine and classic cooking techniques.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a kitchen team.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to move throughout the restaurant and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure seamless service.
• Coach and develop line cooks, prep cooks, and kitchen teammates.
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation across menu items.
• Perform line checks to ensure dishes meet Maggiano's specifications.
• Manage food production, prep lists, and inventory to minimize waste.
• Uphold sanitation and food safety standards per health regulations.
• Support the team during peak hours by covering stations as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to control food costs and drive operational excellence.
