Job summary

Hightouch is seeking a senior Solutions Engineering leader to guide the team responsible for ensuring seamless pre-sales experiences and successful customer engagements in the Data Activation space.

You will mentor engineers, work closely with AEs on demos and POCs, and architect data solutions using Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks for enterprise SaaS customers across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with direct client-facing pre-sales or post-sales experience.
• Proven track record of leading, managing, and developing technical teams.
• Experience with SQL, Python, JavaScript, and APIs for data integration.
• Experience in enterprise SaaS and cloud data platforms.
• Self-starter with ability to troubleshoot complex issues with customers.
• Excellent presentation skills with executives and engineers.
• Ability to collaborate across sales, product, and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a Solutions Engineering team.
• Partner strategically with AEs to deliver tailored demos and customer POCs.
• Develop domain expertise in Data Activation, CDP, data warehousing (Snowflake/BigQuery/Databricks).
• Be accountable for the customer experience during the new revenue pilot and closing phases.
• Engage with customers daily to understand data activation needs and architect solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain playbooks, demos, and tools for POCs and validations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to identify feature requests and improvements.
• Drive initiatives to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of the Solutions Engineering team.
