Job summary

Hightouch is seeking a strategic leader to head Solutions Engineering in the United States. You will guide a team of engineers, collaborate with Account Executives, and drive tailored demonstrations and POCs to convert opportunities.

You will build deep expertise in Data Activation, data warehousing, and API integrations while ensuring a superb customer experience during pilots and closures.

Qualifications

• Lead the Solutions Engineering team with a focus on customer outcomes.
• Proven track record of leading technical teams and pre-sales engagements.
• Experience presenting to executives and managing customer relationships.
• Background in enterprise SaaS or data platforms is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration across sales, product and engineering.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Solutions Engineers fostering a collaborative, high‑performing, customer‑centric environment.
• Partner strategically with Hightouch AEs throughout the customer journey, delivering tailored demonstrations and customer POCs.
• Develop deep technical domain expertise in Data Activation, CDP, data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks), and integration platforms.
• Be accountable for the exceptional customer experience during the new revenue pilot and closing phases.
• Engage with customers daily to understand their data activation needs and architect elegant solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain playbooks, demo environments, and tools for successful POCs and validations.
• Collaborate with AEs and Product Managers to identify feature requests and product enhancements.
• Drive initiatives to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of the SE team.
