Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking a Solutions Architect to serve as the Technical SME for OCIO. You will support Enterprise Architecture design, governance, quality, and protections across systems, data, and networks.

You will design, review, and oversee complex solutions, focusing on consolidation, modernization, migration, and management across cloud and on-premises environments. Hybrid work with onsite in Arlington, VA is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in an IT development environment.
• 3–5 years documenting SELC/SDLC.
• 5 years in a major services organization with oversight experience.
• 5 years in a Solutions Architect role with transformation leadership.
• Knowledge of data quality, data protection, governance and cyber security.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with data migration, mapping and modeling.
• Familiarity with microservices, AI/LLM, and RPA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for OCIO on Enterprise Architecture design, governance, quality and protection.
• Collaborate with leadership and tech teams to align requirements with strategic goals.
• Design and oversee implementation of complex systems across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Produce architecture diagrams and documentation using government frameworks.
• Support DHS ICE SELC/SDLC documentation and lifecycle processes.
• Present solutions and roadmaps to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure security, interoperability and cost-effectiveness of solutions.
• Create knowledge bases in Confluence/Teams/SharePoint to aid onboarding.
