Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a Solution Architect in Michigan to optimize the technology stack, define end-to-end architectures, and guide practice solutions through roadmap to retirement. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, and other architects to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (required).
• Deep architecture background with at least ten years of experience spanning multiple architecture domains, with depth in at least one area relevant to professional services solutions.
• Broad knowledge across the Microsoft portfolio and related AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the practice’s technology stack and retire legacy solutions.
• Define and govern end-to-end solution architectures for practice offerings.
• Partner with product leads and architects to align solutions with enterprise standards.
• Design reusable patterns and reference architectures for consistency and scalability.
• Support lifecycle of practice solutions from roadmap to decommissioning.
