Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to optimize the Management Consulting technology stack, define end-to-end architectures, and drive enterprise alignment. You will partner with product and enterprise teams to govern designs, establish reusable patterns, and guide platform innovations that reduce technical debt.

The role demands a ten-year multi-domain architecture background, strong communication, and experience in professional services or regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Ten years of architecture experience across multiple domains, with depth in at least one area relevant to professional services solutions.
• Broad knowledge across the Microsoft portfolio including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Compute and Networking, Security and Identity, Azure Integration Services, Application Development, Copilot and related AI capabilities.
• Ability to evaluate when to use native Microsoft capabilities, configuration, customization, custom development, or third-party solutions based on business fit and other factors.
• Proven ability to architect the complete product experience including business processes, user experience, applications, data, integrations, security, analytics, and lifecycle management.
• Experience designing solutions in a professional services or regulated environment.
• Experience in product-centric or platform-based delivery models and strong communication to leadership.
• Demonstrated initiative, leadership, and high performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the practice’s technology stack and retire legacy solutions.
• Develop understanding of objectives, processes, services, and data to guide architecture decisions.
• Design end-to-end, scalable solutions for engagement lifecycle, workflows, and analytics.
• Act as design authority ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
• Define reusable solution patterns and reference architectures.
• Support the full product lifecycle including roadmap and upgrades.
• Collaborate with architects to apply security, data, AI, and infrastructure standards.
• Advise on architectural trade-offs between standard and customized capabilities.
• Represent the practice in architecture governance forums.
