Job summary

Plante Moran seeks a Solution Architect to optimize the Management Consulting technology stack and define end-to-end architectures that enable practice capabilities and processes.

You will partner across Product, Enterprise, and Platform teams to ensure standards, manage risk, and drive value through scalable, integrated solutions using Microsoft technologies. This is a non-exempt position, with potential hours beyond 40 per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Extensive architecture background with 10+ years across multiple domains.
• Broad knowledge of Microsoft portfolio and related AI capabilities.
• Ability to evaluate native vs third-party solutions based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end solution architectures for the practice.
• Partner with Product, Enterprise, Platform, and Foundational Architects.
• Advise on architectural trade-offs between standard capabilities and customization.
• Develop reusable solution patterns and reference architectures.
• Support lifecycle management, roadmaps, and platform upgrades.
• Represent the practice in governance forums and align roadmaps.
