Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to optimize the Management Consulting technology stack and govern end-to-end architectures that enable practice capabilities and processes. You will partner with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, and other Solution Architects to ensure solutions align to enterprise standards while delivering business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Must have a deep architecture background with at least ten years of experience spanning multiple architecture domains.
• Broad knowledge across the Microsoft portfolio including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure Compute and Networking, Security and Identity.
• Experience leveraging Microsoft capabilities with third-party platforms to deliver end-to-end products.
• Experience evaluating when to use native Microsoft capabilities, configuration, customization, or third-party solutions.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the practice’s technology stack by consolidating tools and retiring legacy solutions.
• Develop understanding of objectives, processes, services, and data to guide architecture decisions.
• Design end-to-end, scalable solutions for engagement lifecycle, workflows, reporting, and analytics.
• Act as design authority for architecture designs ensuring enterprise alignment.
• Define reusable solution patterns and reference architectures for consistency and scalability.
• Support product lifecycle including roadmap, enhancements, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Advise on architectural trade-offs between standard capabilities, configuration, and customization.
• Represent the practice in architecture governance forums and align roadmaps with stakeholders.
