Job summary

Cleanleaf Energy, LLC is seeking a Solar Technician III in Georgia to lead and train technicians on solar and battery installations, ensuring safety and quality.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, document work in CMMS with photos and checklists, and provide technical support to customers.

This senior role requires strong leadership, English communication, and experience with SCADA/DAS, CMMS, and inverter/battery systems, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record check.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to communicate in English, both oral and written.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic computer operation skills and CMMS navigation.
• Understanding OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of solar plant construction and equipment interactions.
• Knowledge of SCADA/DAS systems troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IV Curve tracing and repair.
• Knowledge of repairing major solar plant components.
• Knowledge of repairing battery storage components.
• Complete courses and maintain advanced inverter certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Solar Technician I/II on site.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on solar and battery installations.
• Interface with SCADA/DAS systems to diagnose onsite issues.
• Document work in CMMS with proper grammar, photos, and checklists.
• Provide technical support for customer issues.
• Ensure compliance with O&M standards and safety requirements.
• Support area supervisor or regional manager as needed.
• Attend weekly safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain PPE.
• Complete required safety training.
• Report safety incidents promptly and ensure corrective actions.
• May travel up to 50% and work primarily in the field.
