ACT Power Services, LLC is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee safe, productive onsite operations of a utility-scale solar PV plant. The role is field-based, with travel to various sites across the United States as needed to maximize production and reliability.

The candidate will lead preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, ensuring NEC compliance and robust safety practices while coordinating with technicians and site staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PV maintenance/plant operations experience
• Experience with SCADA, DAS, UPS systems
• Proficient with electrical testing equipment and diagrams
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical code
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel
• NABCEP Certification
• OSHA 10 General Industry familiarity

Responsibilities

• Uphold a high level of safety standards in everything you do
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of solar facilities
• Strong understanding of NEC, electrical theory and industry best practices
• Perform DC and AC testing including I-V tracing
• Maintain maintenance schedules for equipment and sites (trackers, inverters, transformers, disconnects)
• Maintain company assets and service reports, safety paperwork, and inventory
• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting training to technicians
• Identify and remove hazards and mitigate safety risks
