Job summary

ACT Power Services is seeking a Field-based Plant Manager to lead the safe and productive day-to-day operations of a utility-scale solar PV plant. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to maximize production while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires field deployment across US sites, with travel as needed, on-call duties, and weekends. Experience with SCADA/DAS, NEC standards, and NABCEP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with PV maintenance and MV systems incl. DC/AC testing.
• NABCEP Certification and OSHA 10 required.
• Ability to travel, on-call, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a high level of safety standards in everything you do.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of solar PV facilities.
• Strong understanding of NEC code and electrical theory.
• Perform DC/AC testing including polarity, insulation resistance, I-V curves.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, service records and spare parts inventory.
• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting training to technicians and others.
