Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Performance Technician in the Sacramento area to manage service and warranty work and coordinate with customers and the field team to ensure timely, quality service. This role emphasizes safety, scheduling, and hands-on PV system knowledge.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of solar or field construction experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of field construction or solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience preferred.
• High School diploma required.
• Clean driving record with valid license.
• Electrical Journeyman certification/licence preferred depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Allocate labor resources to service and warranty projects with Foreman and Manager.
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team.
• Support onboarding and training of new field performance members.
• Exceed defined field performance KPIs such as turnaround time and dispatches.
• Assist with inspections and site audits as needed.
