Job summary
Bridgenext is searching for a Lead Automation Engineer to bring deep IT experience in test automation and QA leadership. You will work as an embedded QA within the development team from early design through release, logging defects clearly and collaborating with developers and stakeholders for early issue resolution.
You will coach team members on quality practices, develop test data for diverse scenarios, and drive continuous improvements in testing processes.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience and QA leadership responsibilities.
- Coding experience in Java or Python and automation of API and web/mobile apps across platforms.
- Excellent UI automation using Page Objects & Domain Driven design and knowledge of databases.
Responsibilities
- Embed QA within development teams from design through release.
- Identify, log, and track defects clearly.
- Develop and manage test data for varied scenarios.
- Perform manual and automated testing to maintain reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders for early issue detection.
- Coach team members on quality best practices.
- Stay adaptable to project needs and timelines.
- Drive continuous improvements in testing processes.
