Job summary

Empower is seeking a Lead Engineer Automation Quality to design, lead, and implement robust automated test strategies across complex projects in a dynamic environment. You will mentor engineers, set QA standards, and collaborate with DevOps to embed tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will drive automation maturity, define goals with stakeholders, and champion AI-enabled quality initiatives while performing some manual testing as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of testing experience with 4–5 years automation testing or equivalent automation training.
• Leadership experience managing test automation teams.
• Strong Java proficiency and automation tool experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of automated test strategies and frameworks.
• Lead a team of test automation engineers and provide direction.
• Define best practices for test automation and QA.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD.
• Monitor metrics and drive continuous improvement.
