Job summary

Kobie Marketing seeks an experienced Lead Software Engineer to drive the full software development lifecycle. You will lead development teams, break down work, and ensure successful delivery by collaborating with key team members.

You will design and develop applications using J2EE technologies, SOA, and API development in containerized environments, with strong knowledge of frontend tech and patterns that deliver high-value vertical slices. Remote-friendly, growth-focused.

Qualifications

• Lead development teams responsible for delivering prioritized roadmap items.
• Design & develop apps using J2EE, SOA, with frontend knowledge for vertical value.
• Deep SOA/API experience in a containerized deployment environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide and coach engineers, applying best practices for product work items.
• Lead all Agile phases: grooming, designing, coding, testing.
• Focus on outcomes, ensuring timely, high-quality, flexible solutions.
• Participate in design sessions with product owners to meet business needs.
• Mentor teammates on best practices and new tech adoption.
• Promote solid coding patterns and standards across the team.
• Establish standards in coding, design, security, automation, and testing.
