Job summary

GE Aerospace in Evendale is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, validate and certify engine control software for military applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated hardware and software solutions that meet stringent safety and performance requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, at least 3 years in engine controls or software, and eligibility for U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience related to Aircraft Engine Controls Systems and/or Software Engineering.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute the design, development, and test of advanced Controls Systems technologies to meet business standards and program/product requirements.
• Provide technical leadership on the assigned project and mentor engineers.
• Document and communicate results of technical data generated.
• Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers.
• Track project progress and coordinate with suppliers and teams.
