Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Engineer to join the Defense Engines & Services team in the Controls Systems area. You will design, develop, and validate control strategies for military engines, integrating hardware and software to deliver robust and reliable operation.

You will mentor teammates, work with suppliers and cross-functional teams, and contribute to engineering documentation and product release processes. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience related to Aircraft Engine Controls Systems and/or Software Engineering.
• This role requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test advanced Controls Systems technologies to meet program requirements.
• Provide technical leadership on the assigned project.
• Document and communicate results of technical data generated.
• Mentor engineers in Controls Systems and Transient Design disciplines.
• Track project progress, resource needs, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver integrated hardware and software solutions.
