McKesson's Ontada technology division seeks a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across multiple teams for the iKnowMed G2 platform. You will drive architecture, modernize cloud-native systems, and guide integration with REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and AI-enabled workflows in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

You will partner with senior managers, product teams, and security to deliver scalable, reliable solutions, leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and modern data

Qualifications

  • Requires degree or equivalent with 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred for senior leadership.
  • Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive technology vision, architecture strategy, and modernization roadmap for enterprise platforms.
  • Lead architecture reviews and establish technology standards for scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Drive adoption of cloud platforms and containerization to improve platform agility.
  • Architect secure, scalable integration using REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and healthcare interoperability standards.
