McKesson invites applications for a Director of Software Engineering to lead Ontada’s data platforms and engineering teams. You will shape the vision for scalable healthcare data platforms, pipelines, and data products powering value-based care insights.

You will partner with product, analytics, data science, and security to deliver reliable, compliant technology outcomes. This hybrid role requires onsite presence in Irving, TX, and remote collaboration as needed.

Formación

• 12+ years of technology experience with 4+ years in leadership roles overseeing multiple teams.
• Deep experience designing and operating enterprise-scale cloud data platforms and data products.
• Strong knowledge of Databricks, Spark, Python, SQL, Delta Lake, orchestration, and data quality controls.
• Experience delivering data capabilities for value-based care, population health, or healthcare analytics preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, PHI protection, data governance, and interoperability standards is highly valued.
• Proven ability to lead enterprise web or SaaS platforms with microservices, APIs, and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to influence executives and business leaders.

Responsabilidades

• Define and lead the technical vision for Ontada’s VBC data ecosystem and platforms.
• Build and deliver multi-release roadmaps aligning with product priorities and business value.
• Lead managers, architects, data engineers, and software engineers to high performance.
• Establish data contracts, lineage, observability, and data quality controls.
• Provide hands-on oversight of data architecture and modern patterns (Databricks, Spark, Python, SQL).
• Deliver reusable, trusted data products and integrations across clinical, claims, quality, finance, and ops domains.
• Ensure integration with enterprise web and SaaS applications and maintain production reliability.
