Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction, startup, and turnover of simple cycle and combined cycle power projects on a major site in the southwestern United States. You will coordinate with craft labor, subcontractors, suppliers, startup teams, and the owner to ensure safe, high‑quality execution from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction management on similar projects, with 8+ years

Qualifications

5+ years experience on similar projects in construction management role, with a Bachelor's degree.
8+ years experience with 3 years at superintendent level or above on large projects, or in construction management role on smaller projects without a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

Lead the Construction Execution Plan to support safe delivery of simple cycle and combined cycle construction activities.
Oversee full construction effort including equipment erection, direct-hire craft labor, subcontractor coordination, suppliers, startup and testing activities, and owner interface.
Manage construction and startup costs to support budgets while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule performance.
Review monthly construction budget, schedule, and quality performance; identify risks and take action to stay on plan.
Direct implementation of project controls processes and procedures.
Build strong relationships with clients, owners, alliance partners, craft professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers to promote collaboration on site.
