Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks an experienced Site Manager for a large power construction project. The role leads the on-site team, directs planning, procurement, startup, and testing activities, and ensures safety, quality, and cost targets are met.

You will coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers to execute project strategies. Responsibilities include managing the Construction Execution Plan, approvals, and deviations, mentoring staff, and championing continuous improvement and LEAN

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field with at least 10+ years on large projects.
• Experience as Site Manager on power/construction projects is required or equivalent.
• Ability to manage budget, schedule, safety, and quality across multiple crews.

Responsibilities

• Direct on-site construction, start-up, and commissioning activities.
• Lead site management team and coordinate labor, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Implement CPPM and project controls, including cost and schedule reporting.
• Manage change orders, risk mitigation, and site safety compliance.
• Foster client relationships and ensure alignment with owner expectations.
