Job summary

Jones Sign Company seeks a Construction Project Manager to oversee complex signage programs for national accounts. You will lead projects from design through installation, coordinating electricians, fabricators and other trades to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities include managing $75,000+ projects, reviewing drawings and BOMs, and ensuring design intent with architectural signage expertise. Strong CAD skills, BOM knowledge, and client-facing communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Two plus years in complex signage program or construction with architectural design background.
• Experience designing architectural elements using CAD software.
• Strong customer service and client-facing communication.
• Demonstrate understanding of BOMs and fabrication processes.
• Excellent analytical mindset and problem solving.
• Technical proficiency in electrical systems, construction docs, and material specs.
• Experience with high-value, custom project execution.
• Procore and MS Office proficiency preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of AIA documentation and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage major signage projects from initiation to completion with national programs and accounts.
• Coordinate across trades to ensure seamless integration and execution.
• Manage projects valued at $75,000+ with specialized materials and low-volume production.
• Act as the subject matter expert for architectural signage from design to installation.
• Oversee installation of custom elements such as canopies, graphics and valences.
• Challenge assumptions and troubleshoot to maintain project momentum.
• Translate customer design intent into practical, buildable solutions using design software.
• Create and review construction drawings and elevations to guide execution.
• Ensure compliance with technical specs and site requirements.
• Maintain project documentation and report progress to stakeholders.
• Negotiate, execute, and approve change orders aligned with goals.
• Review drawings and BOMs before production release.
• Identify design challenges and opportunities for improvement to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure feasibility and alignment with client expectations.
• Continuously improve design processes, tools, and outcomes.
• Serve as a mentor to other project managers.
