Job summary

Jones Sign is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support a lead Project Manager on construction and fabrication projects across the U.S. The role involves coordinating schedules, invoicing, design handoffs and site communications, with potential to manage mid-sized projects under oversight.

The candidate should have an Associate degree in a related field and 2+ years in a fast-paced office, with experience in healthcare rebrand or program signs preferred. Hybrid work may apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in engineering, construction or related field to project management.
• Two years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume professional office setting supporting engineering, project management or construction.
• Healthcare accounts, rebrand or program sign experience highly desirable.
• Stable work history showing progression in responsibility and growth.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Experience with Bluebeam for design input and Smartsheet or project scheduling software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project team with daily project coordination.
• Focus on growth in Healthcare & Corporate Branding industry.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project scopes, schedules, budgets and deadlines.
• Support multi-site projects with assigned clients or programs.
• Review and update progress and cost reports, schedules and requirements for completion.
• Maintain ERP and project records related to submittals, RFIs, change requests, commitments, design log.
• Communicate project deviations to affected teams to ensure scope accuracy.
• Review product specifications for quality control before and after installation.
• Coordinate design requests and engineering schedules.
• Develop and update customer reports.
• Travel to job sites as needed.
• Procure materials, tools and equipment and/or vendors as required.
• Support, coordinate and manage sign installations and remediation plans.
• Understand and track project gross profit margins and budgets to stay within costs.
• Demonstrate assertive communication and negotiation skills.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Directors of Project Management.
