Job summary

Red Robin is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Texas to manage day-to-day restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts under exempt management. You will be a brand ambassador, focus on guest satisfaction and profit optimization, and may supervise peers while training in leadership tasks.

The role requires strong communication, reliable scheduling, and flexibility to work opening/closing shifts, weekends, and holidays. Prior restaurant experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and ability to supervise peers.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Strong oral and written communication, leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations during mid and closing shifts under supervision of exempt management.
• Act as ambassador of Brand Equity Standards to ensure guest loyalty and profit maximization.
• Resolve guest concerns and supervise peers to ensure product quality and restaurant cleanliness.
• Possibly work in other hourly roles as needed based on restaurant schedule.
