Job summary

BRC is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to lead and supervise a team across multiple shelter and safe haven sites in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. The role emphasizes crisis management, trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and Narcan trainings, with daily client engagement in residential settings.

• 1 year supervisory experience required.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in a team of 11 social workers and peer specialists.
• Supervise staff using crisis management, Motivational Interviewing, and harm reduction.
• Engage clients using trauma-informed practices in shelter settings.
• Conduct screenings, oversee Narcan trainings, and provide harm reduction education.
• Create linkages/referrals to services near clients' residences.
• Document progress notes and monthly DHS and OASAS reporting.
• Oversee data entry in AWARDS and OASAS systems and report to Program Director.
• Operate in-person with clients in residential settings.
