Job summary

CLA is seeking a Lead Modern Workplace SharePoint Engineer to lead architecture, design, and optimization of SharePoint Online across the enterprise. You will serve as the technical authority for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams integrations within a Microsoft 365 context.

You will develop governance frameworks, enable scalable content management, and drive modernization initiatives including migrations and integrations with Power Platform, Copilot, Viva, and CRM systems.

Qualifications

6 years relevant experience required.
8 years of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 engineering experience preferred.
5+ years of SharePoint Online experience preferred.
Experience leading enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 implementations and migrations preferred.
Experience developing governance, information architecture, and content management strategies preferred.
Experience integrating SharePoint with Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot preferred.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise collaboration and document management platforms preferred.
Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of SharePoint Online across the enterprise.
Serve as the primary technical authority for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams integrations, and Microsoft 365 collaboration services.
Develop and maintain governance frameworks, site provisioning standards, content lifecycle policies, and metadata strategies.
Lead intranet, portal, document management, knowledge management, and collaboration platform initiatives.
Design scalable content management solutions supporting operations, employee experience, and client engagement.
Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into modern Microsoft 365 solutions.
Drive SharePoint modernization including migrations from legacy platforms and on-premises environments.
Lead integration with Power Platform, Copilot, Viva, ServiceNow, CRM systems, and other apps.
Design, develop, and maintain Power Automate workflows and Power Apps solutions.
Establish and maintain enterprise content governance and compliance with Risk, Legal, and Information Security teams.
