Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking an experienced SharePoint Architect/Lead to drive the architecture, design, and optimization of SharePoint Online across the enterprise. You will serve as the technical authority for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams integrations, and Microsoft 365 services.

You will develop governance frameworks, information architecture, and metadata strategies while leading intranet, portal, document management, and collaboration initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6 years relevant experience required.
• 8 years of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 engineering experience preferred.
• 5+ years of SharePoint Online experience preferred.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 implementations and migrations preferred.
• Experience developing governance, information architecture, and content management strategies preferred.
• Experience integrating SharePoint with Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot preferred.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise collaboration and document management platforms preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of SharePoint Online across the enterprise.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams integrations, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Develop and maintain governance frameworks, site provisioning standards, content lifecycle policies, information architecture, and metadata strategies.
• Lead intranet, portal, document management, knowledge management, and collaboration platform initiatives.
• Design scalable content management solutions supporting operations, employee experience, and client engagement.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Drive modernization including migrations from legacy and on-premises environments, and integration with Power Platform, Copilot, Viva, ServiceNow, and CRM systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power Automate workflows and Power Apps solutions using SharePoint as a core platform.
