Job summary

Teksky LLC seeks an experienced Service Lead Technician to head field service operations for wastewater treatment systems. You will drive customer startups, commissioning, troubleshooting, and training of technicians, with travel about 50% to start.

This role blends hands-on work, customer coordination, field leadership, and shop support, with a focus on reliability and proactive maintenance in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field service experience with industrial water, wastewater, or process treatment equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLC and HMI troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred).
• Knowledge of pumps, valves, instrumentation, and industrial controls.
• Experience with equipment startups and commissioning.
• Previous technician leadership or training experience.
• Strong customer communication and coordination skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% initially.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate customer startups, commissioning, and field service activities.
• Install, troubleshoot, and service industrial water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections.
• Prepare service reports and recommend repairs, parts, and upgrades.
• Coordinate service schedules, customer requirements, and internal resources.
• Assist with service contracts, renewals, and service quotations.
• Train and mentor shop technicians on troubleshooting and service procedures.
• Support shop testing and system preparation before shipment.
