Job summary

Sunlight Batteries USA is seeking a Service & Parts Planner to ensure service parts availability, forecast demand, and coordinate procurement with suppliers. You will lead a small team, optimize inventory, and partner with Customer Service, Operations, and Engineering to meet uptime goals.

You will develop replenishment strategies, monitor stock levels, and drive continuous improvement in inventory turns while delivering high-quality service to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years in inventory planning, materials planning, or related experience.
• Experience managing strategic inventory and critical service parts.
• Strong forecasting, inventory management, and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to lead planning improvements and supervise hourly staff.
• Experience coordinating daily workloads and meeting operational goals.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute inventory replenishment strategies for service and replacement parts.
• Establish stocking levels, reorder points, and safety stock parameters.
• Monitor inventory and identify shortages before they affect customers.
• Support warranty, repair, and customer service requirements through inventory management.
• Create and maintain purchase orders; coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Expedite critical materials and evaluate supplier performance for improvements.
• Monitor inventory and service performance metrics; drive improvements in turns and uptime.
