Job summary

10x Genomics is seeking a Senior Service Parts Planner to manage the end-to-end lifecyle of spares, ensuring parts, tools, and assets are available for field service to maximize instrument uptime and service-level commitments.

The role leads demand planning, stocking strategies, NPI support, field returns, and ECO impact on spare parts, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory and reduce lead times.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in service/spare parts planning, inventory management, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of MRP systems and inventory control methods.
• Knowledge of field service operations and logistics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain spares forecast and demand plans.
• Define planning methods such as min-max and safety stock.
• Set up and maintain MRP and master data.
• Coordinate field material returns and refurbishments with suppliers.
• Track inventory levels, fill rates, and backorders across locations.
• Escalate parts shortages and prioritize allocations.
• Coordinate NPI and end-of-support spares strategies.
• Review ECOs affecting spare parts.
