Job summary

Sunlight Batteries USA seeks a Service & Parts Planner to ensure service parts availability and align demand planning with procurement and warehouse operations. You will supervise a small team to meet uptime, service levels, and cost targets across Customer Service, Operations, and Engineering.

The role emphasizes forecasting, inventory optimization, supplier collaboration, and continual improvement to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 5-8 years in inventory planning, materials planning, or supply chain.
• Experience managing strategic inventory and critical service parts.
• Strong forecasting and analytical capabilities.
• Experience leading a small team of hourly/non-exempt employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute inventory replenishment strategies for service parts.
• Establish stocking levels, reorder points, and safety stock parameters.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages before they impact customers.
• Support warranty, repair, and customer service through inventory management.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Customer Service, Operations, Engineering, and Quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory turns and reduce costs.
