Job summary

Stella in Seattle is seeking a Lead Server to run daily service operations, keep the team on track, and ensure guests are looked after with warm, attentive service. You’ll cover Manager on Duty shifts, shaping the guest experience and service tone on the floor.

You’ll train new servers, model professional behavior, and maintain brand standards while handling guest concerns calmly and efficiently. This role offers robust tipping potential and growth toward restaurant leadership.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead and support a team, and to hold a standard without losing the room.
• Clear, confident communication with guests and colleagues.
• Close eye for detail and consistency.
• Ability to think on your feet and resolve issues without disrupting service.

Responsibilities

• Run daily service operations.
• Open/close checklists for servers, hosts, and assistants.
• Run food, provide attentive service, assist with polishing, cleaning, and restocking.
• Flag changes to menus to management, communicate guest feedback and needs.
• Cover Manager on Duty shifts (MOD) up to four per week.
• Greet and seat guests, support in-room dining orders, and serve tables.
• Train new team members and provide ongoing guidance on brand standards.
