Job summary

ASH Hotels is seeking a Lead Server for Stella, our seafood-inspired restaurant in Seattle. You will run the floor, ensure smooth service, and occasionally take on Manager on Duty responsibilities to gain real operational experience.

The role focuses on consistency, judgment, and the ability to bring a team together under pressure. Expect multiple shifts with opportunities to advance within hotel operations.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Proven ability to lead and support a team while maintaining service standards.
• Clear, confident communication with guests and colleagues.
• Eye for detail and consistency; ability to stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure opening and closing checklists for server, host, and server assistants.
• Run food, provide attentive service, and support restocking and cleaning as needed.
• Keep menus current and notify management of changes.
• Communicate guest feedback and operational needs to the appropriate manager.
• Cover Manager on Duty shifts and greet/seat guests as needed.
• Check food and beverage quality against standards.
