Apple is seeking a SerDes Design and Validation Engineer to lead system validation of high-performance SerDes PHY IP in Cupertino. You will own SerDes bring-up, validation, and debug, while defining DFT needs with design teams to improve testability and first-silicon success.

The role requires deep expertise in analog/mixed-signal blocks and high-speed interfaces. You will develop test plans and drive lab and production testing, working with ATE and system validation teams.

Formación

• BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
• Experience in high-speed serial links with expertise in analog and mixed-signal blocks.
• Experience with DFT/testability and lab testing workflows.
• Knowledge of PCIe/USB/DP/MPHY SerDes protocols and CDR architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Ownership of SerDes system bring-up, validation and debugging in system environment.
• Define DFT needs with design teams to improve testability and silicon yield.
• Contribute to mixed-signal verification to understand SerDes operation.
