Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead geotechnical analysis for transportation infrastructure projects across the US and Canada. The role focuses on design-build and alternative delivery methods, with responsibility for engineering reports, analyses, and directing staff geotechnical engineers.

You'll work with a multidisciplinary team, travel to project sites as needed, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring safe, constructible designs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
• 15+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience on transportation infrastructure projects.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Engineering assignments in support of Kiewit Corporation business.
• Support bid phase development of innovative and cost-effective design.
• Identify key design risks with pursuit team and develop mitigation plans.
• Engineer-of-Record on design-build projects and produce design deliverables.
• Capture and share design lessons learned across districts.
• Train and develop junior engineers.
