Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our district for infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes design and leadership across geotechnical disciplines, with travel to project offices as needed.

Based in Westlake, TX or Lenexa, KS with flexible work arrangements. Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, a US PE license, and 7+ years of relevant experience, plus strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with

Qualifications

Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field.
7+ years of geotechnical engineering experience in U.S. infrastructure markets.
Registration as a Professional Engineer in the U.S. is required.
Knowledge of deep/shallow foundations, slope stability, seismic design and earth retention.
Strong verbal and written communication with interdisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

Provide design and technical guidance on geotechnical problems for infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to mitigate risks and optimize designs.
Lead or support geotechnical design on EPC/design-build projects and manage project tasks.
