Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers in Lone Tree, CO seeks a mid-level Geotechnical Engineer to join an interdisciplinary design team. You will perform analysis, design, and estimates supporting design-build projects and pursuits, collaborating with geotechnical, structural, and roadway disciplines.

Ideal candidate has a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and a US PE license. Travel to project sites is required, EPC/Design-Build experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of relevant geotechnical design engineering experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in the U.S., required.
• EPC or Design-Build experience, preferred.
• Transportation and Infrastructure project experience is a MUST have.

Responsibilities

• Providing project support during the proposal/bid phase with team members to identify innovative and cost-effective geotechnical design solutions.
• Develop design recommendations and deliverables on EPC/design-build projects, potentially serving as geotechnical lead or project manager.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for design coordination and constructability.
• Train and develop staff engineers.
