Job summary

CBX Solutions, the nation’s leading provider of architectural doors, frames, hardware, and security integration services, seeks a Lead Technician in Midland, TX. You will install and configure access control devices, CCTV, panels, and related equipment on commercial sites, often coordinating with Project Managers.

You will lead field technicians, ensure safety, meet milestones, and uphold quality on both new construction and retrofit projects.

Qualifications

• Two+ VMS certifications and two access control certs required.
• At least one year configuring physical security systems.
• Certificate from at least one camera manufacturer.
• OSHA-10 certification required.
• Two years field technician experience minimum.

Responsibilities

• Onsite tasking of resources to meet project milestones established by the Project Manager
• Install various access control devices and electrified door hardware
• Install and connect access control panels, power supplies and control equipment
• Install and program CCTV cameras (analog and IP)
• Install and program NVRs and VMS platforms
• Install cable and pathway systems to support security systems
• Lead a team of field technicians under the project manager
• Maintain installation deadlines
• Ensure safety on the job site
• Attend trades meetings at construction sites as needed
