Job summary
CBX Solutions is seeking a Lead Technician in Midland, TX to install and configure access control devices, CCTV systems, NVRs, and related security gear on site with minimal supervision. You will lead a crew of field technicians, coordinate with Project Managers, and ensure milestones are met with safety and quality as top priorities.
The role requires OSHA-10 and two VMS certifications, plus two access control certifications, plus hands-on experience with low voltage systems and IP cameras.
Qualifications
- Must have OSHA-10 certificate and two VMS certifications.
- Must hold two access control certifications.
- Minimum one year of basic configuration of physical security systems.
- Camera manufacturer training with certificate.
Responsibilities
- Onsite tasking of resources to meet project milestones.
- Install access control devices and electrified hardware.
- Connect and configure access control panels and power supplies.
- Install and program CCTV; analog and IP cameras.
- Install and program NVRs and VMS platforms.
- Install cabling and pathway systems for security systems.
- Lead a small field technician crew and ensure safety and quality.
- Maintain project deadlines and time entries.
