Job summary

CBX Solutions is hiring a Lead Technician to install, configure, and commission security systems including access control, electrified door hardware, panels, and CCTV/NVR platforms. You will lead onsite technicians, ensure timelines, and maintain safety standards on diverse projects.

Ideal candidates hold two or more vendor certifications, OSHA-10, and experience across new construction and retrofit environments. Strong communication with clients and team is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and plan installation crews of 2–4 workers.
• Strong understanding of low voltage principles and electrical basics.
• Effective communication with customer IT and Facilities staff.
• Ability to coordinate with other trades on site.
• Experience with IP camera technology, controllers, power supplies, door hardware, and credentials.
• Solid grasp of physical security systems concepts and field application.

Responsibilities

• Onsite tasking of resources to meet project milestones.
• Install and configure access control devices, panels, and electrified hardware.
• Install and program CCTV cameras and NVRs/VMS platforms.
• Install cabling and pathway systems for security equipment.
• Lead field technicians to ensure quality and safety on site.
• Support project commissioning and testing activities.
