Job summary

CBX Solutions is seeking a Lead Technician to install, configure, and commission access control devices, CCTV systems, and related hardware across commercial sites. You will lead onsite technicians, ensuring timely tasking, safety, and quality as projects meet milestones and customer expectations.

The role emphasizes hands-on installation, system programming, and collaboration with project managers and field supervisors to deliver secure, reliable access control and video surveillance solutions.

Qualifications

Hold and retain certification in at least two VMS systems.
Hold and retain certification in at least two access control systems.
Have a minimum one year of experience configuring physical security systems.
Attended training for at least one camera manufacturer with a certificate.
OSHA-10 certification held and current.
Two years of Field Technician experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Onsite tasking of resources to meet project milestones established by the Project Manager.
Install various access control devices and electrified door hardware.
Install and connect access control panels, power supplies and control equipment.
Install and program CCTV cameras (analogue and IP).
Install and program NVRs and VMS platforms.
Install cable and pathway systems to support security systems.
Lead a team of field technicians to meet deadlines.
Maintain high quality control and safety on site.
Participate in project commissioning and testing.
